Lt. Nathan Perry,the U.S. Army spokesman in Afhganistan declared to our special reporter in Kabul,Kacey Montoya,that Friday our troops had an violent confront with the Islamist militants in the district Shindand,in the west of Herat province.Kacey Montoya says that none of our soldiers were killed or injured,but 5 militants died and 2 of them were arrested.Three Al Qaida militants managed to escape,taking advantage of the hostile environment for U.S. soldiers.

Kacey Montoya declares that the coalition soldiers we're trapped into an ambush,requiring airstrikes support in order to escape from that difficult situation.Altough the American forces had no casualties,Gen. Mohammad Zaher Azimi,the Afghan Ministry of Defense spokesman declares that there where 25 civilians and 5 terrorists killed in the battle.
